Welcome to the Seaford District Community
Children's Centre.

Since 1997 Seaford District Community Children’s Centre (SDCCC) has provided Centre-based Day Care (C-bDC) for children aged twelve weeks to five years and Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) to children aged 5 to 12 years in primary school.

Our OSHC site is located at All Saints Catholic Primary School where children can access Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care.

SDCCC is licensed for 89 Centre-based Day Care places for children 0-5 years and 100 places for our
Out of School Hours Care and Vacation Care. To accommodate for the diverse needs of our
community SDCCC have approximately forty-seven qualified staff employed to provide high quality
education and care.

SDCCC is a Not for Profit Community Children’s Service. Educators and families work in partnership to get the best educational outcomes for the children in our care and the families of the service. The fees parents pay for childcare services go into providing quality care and education for their children. We are governed by a Management Committee which consists of families, staff and local community members. The strong leadership offered by the Seaford District Community Children’s Centre Management Committee ensures both our financial stability and a commitment to quality education and care for the children of the district. Our Management Committee ensures that we are well resourced providing each team with: higher educator to child ratios, every educator is involved in curriculum planning and are able to access non-contact time each week to plan, implement and
evaluate the curriculum; a quarterly budget for each team to purchase programming consumables and children's equipment. This budget line is managed by team leaders.

The C-bDC & OSHC Directors are the managers of the services and oversee the day to day running of service operations.

Seaford District Community Children’s Centre mission is a child focused service working collaboratively with families, professionals and the community, building capacity for life long care and education. We continue to be inspired by our vision that states “the leading innovative learning community in the southern region.” And as such have ensured our educator child ratios exceed those required by the national NQF, our educators as lifelong learners access professional development and improve their qualifications, that our educational team are well resourced with time for planning and reflection and with the autonomy to purchase and create resources for children's learning that reflect the services vision for children's learning.

Our Centre core values of trust, respect, care, quality and equity coupled with our philosophy are reflected in the relationships we will develop with your child and family and are intrinsic to our early childhood education and care program. We look forward to working with your child and your family
as your child grows through early childhood.
