Location of our Before and After School Care

On site at All Saints Catholic Primary School, Grand Boulevard Seaford.

We aim to provide a recreational and leisure based environment where children feel happy, safe and secure. Our program is planned with respect to children's developing competence by offering opportunities to make choices and take new challenges whilst they are in our care.

Mandatory Notification

The Seaford District Community Children’s Centre recognises the significant role its educators play in providing child safe environments. Under the Children’s Protection Act, 1993 staff caring for children are mandated notifies, who are required by law to report suspicion of child abuse and neglect to the appropriate authorities.”

Criminal history Screening

In South Australia, criminal history screening is part of the Working with Children Check (WWCC) for people who work or volunteer with children. The WWCC is a legal requirement under the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 and is regulated by the Department of Human Services (DHS). It applies to people working in government education services, public schools, and early childhood services, as well as other child-related roles. Employers and organisations must make sure that workers and volunteers have a valid WWCC before they begin working with children.

In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA), it is the policy of The Seaford District Community Children’s Centre to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to determine a person’s suitability to care for and/or work with children and young people. This requirement aligns with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and ensures compliance with South Australian legislation for child safety and protection.
